Hi! I'm Manpreet
I work with teens, young adults and adults, and I believe counselling should feel like a conversation rather than a space where you're being quietly analysed.
It's a space where we can slow things down, get curious about what's happening, and make sense of the knots together.
You don't need to arrive knowing exactly what's wrong, what you want to change, or even where to begin.
Sometimes, “I don't really know, but something's been bothering me” is enough of a place to start.
From Crafting Stories to Untangling Them
Before becoming a counsellor, I spent 14 years in Advertising crafting stories, managing teams, navigating deadlines and working with people from all walks of life.
Somewhere along the way, I realised that what fascinated me most wasn't just the work. I was endlessly curious about people, how we think, what we feel, why we respond the way we do, and the stories behind who we've become.
That curiosity eventually led me to pursue my Master's in Professional Counselling and, in a way, from crafting stories to helping people untangle their own.

How I work
We'll figure it out together.
My role is not to tell you what you should do. You know your life better than I ever could. My role is to ask questions, notice patterns, offer different perspectives and help you make sense of what's happening so you can decide what feels right for you.
There's no one-size-fits-all way to do therapy.
Some sessions might involve unpacking something that happened that week. Others might take us back to a pattern you've noticed for years. Sometimes we might use a practical exercise or framework; other times, what you need most is space to talk something through.
There's room to be human.
Therapy can hold difficult things without every minute of it needing to feel heavy. Humour, metaphors and very human moments are welcome in the room too.
I work integratively, drawing from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS) depending on what we're exploring and what works for you.
A little about the human behind the counsellor
If you’re looking for a therapist who balances depth with realness (and a sprinkle of humor), we’ll get along great.

Vibe: I laugh at myself, use metaphors for everything, and believe therapy is better when it's real.
